What is included in the price
Prices usually include unlimited kilometers, third party insurance, joint security with certain amount of responsibility, depending on the class of vehicle you choose and the taxes. Depending on the value, My Car offers you each time, the insurances below can be included in the prices.
Discharge of damages’ responsibilities eliminates the liability amounts of joint security for every class of vehicle. Insurance theft is related only to the car theft and hot to the personal do jectives which may were included in the car.
Note: The renter is absolutely responsible for every damage of the car. In case of accident, the renter has to make a reference immediately to the local police, whoever was the driver of the car.
Driving License
Every renter must have a European or an international driving license with a date of issue at least one year
Driver’s age
The minimum age of a renter is 21 years old for the categories A,B,C,D and 23 years old for E,F and H
Price
The price depends on the first day of the hire. Each hired day means 24 hours. For 2 hours delay, the renter is obligated to pay one extra day.
Payment
The renter can either pay cash or with a credit card on the first day
Extra equipment
Further Equipment as child seats, boosters, snow chains can be demand in the duration of the reservation
Further Driver
All the further driver can be declared from the beginning of the reservation in order to be in the insurance
Cancellation & Change of Reservation
You have the possibility to change or cancel the reservation until 48 hours before the beginning of the reservation. The change way be by –mail
Additional Security
Personal Insurance P.A.I.
The personal insurance is about all the passengers and the driver in case of death or an accident expended to My Car
WUG
WUG is an insurance policy, the additional damage to the underbody, tires, antenna, mirror covers and an extra charge
Changes of cars types
My Car has the right to change the car's type in any case
At the beginning
At the beginning of hire the drivers are obligated to have their driver license, their passport or their identities, and their reservation o numbers (if it is existed). If they don’t have these papers, the hire cannot be happen.
(Photocopies are not accepted)
Reservation’s Confirmation
In case of internet reservation www.mycarhire.gr the user will receive from My Car a confirmation email in three days. The user is obligated to check right all his evidences.
One way rent
The service offers the possibility to our clients to take and give back the car in different places
My Car hereby rents Vehicle (including any replacement vehicle) to Renter subject to all terms and on the front page and this page and Renter in consideration there of agrees to as the essence of the Agreement
1. DELIVERY AND RETURN
The vehicle is delivered to the Renter is good overall condition and without apparent defects and any complaints as to its condition must be made to My Car immediately on delivery. The Renter agrees to return it with all documents and accessories in the same condition to My Car at the location and on the date designated in this agreement, otherwise Renter will be responsible to compensate My Car in addition to the normal rental charge. My Car reserves the right to repossess the vehicle at any time without warnings and expenses Renter’s against of this agreement.
2. THEFT, DAMAGE etc.
In case of theft, or loss or damage to the vehicle whilst on rental, Renter shall pay on demand the amount of all resulting loss and expenses including recovery and storage costs. In such case
2.1 The Renter is responsible for theft, or loss or damage to the vehicle unless Renter’s responsibility for theft, or loss or damage to the vehicle from collision is waived by My Car if Renter accepts Theft Protection and/or Loss Damage Waiver (as applicable) at time or rental by initialing the <> box on the front of this Rental Agreement, provided always that the vehicle is used in compliance with the Rental Agreement terms.
2.2 If Renter has complied with all terms and conditions of this agreement otherwise, Renter's responsibility for direct and accidental loss or damage from collision is WAVED by My Car when Renter accepts Collision Damage Waiver at time of rental by initialing in the <> box on the reverse side of this page. If Renter does not accept CDW, his responsibility remains, in case there will be a minimum charge (deductible) according to the current My Car tariff.
2.3 Renter is responsible for any further damages not covered by the insurance Policy of My Car unless Renter has accepted the Liability Insurance Supplement Coverage.
3. CHARGES
Renter will pay My Car demand at termination of the rental unless is agreed otherwise the sum
3.1 All time and mileage charges computed at the rates shown on the front page of this agreement
3.2 Any charges of refueling, Theft Protection, Loss Damage Waiver, Personal accident insurance Supplementary Insurance and/or any other standard miscellaneous charges applicable at the rates shown in this agreement or in the current tariff.
3.3 Any State taxes and service fees which are concerned to the rental.
3.4 My Car costs including attorney's fees, delayed interest incurred in collecting payments due to Renter under this agreement
3.5 Fines, Penalties, Forfeitures, Court costs and other expenses, if assessed against My Car under compulsion of law with respect of use of Vehicle before its proper return to My Car unless due to fault of My Car, but this shall not relieve Renter or authorized driver for their own unlawful conduct
3.5 Any amount for replacement of destroyed tyres, repairing mechanical damages and tear on the body of the vehicle
3.6 Granted discounts will be recalled, if settlement of account is not made within the set limits
4. CONDITIONS OF USE
The Renter is expected to look after the vehicle carefully, to checks its mechanical condition, oil, water, tyres etc. Any repair of the Vehicle by the Renter himself without previous approval by Renter is not allowed without Lessor's prior consent; in particular,
Vehicle must not be used
4.1 to carry persons or property for hire
4.2 To propel or to tow any vehicle, trailer or other subject
4.3 In race, test or contest of a Rally
4.4 For subleasing by Renter to any third persons
While Renter or any authorized driver of the vehicle is under the influence of alcohol, hallucinatory drugs, barbiturates, or any other substance impairing his consciousness or ability to react
4.5 In contravention of any customs, traffic or other regulations
4.6 by any other person other than Renter unless such person has been previously designated and authorized by My Car in the space provided on the front page of this agreement
4.7 to transfer to carry heavy luggage or object, inflammable materials, staining or badly smelling goods, narcotics etc
4.8 Outside Greece without the advance authorization of My Car in writing
4.9 An advance written authorization from My Car is required to ferry the car
5. EXTENSION OF RENTAL PERIOD
If Renter wishes to prolong the rental period of the vehicle, he has to contact My Car within 48 hours before the initial expiration time of the rental to obtain permission for the additional rental period. Failing to do so will make Renter liable civilly and penalty for illegal use and possession of the vehicle in case of extension Renter shall be bound by the terms and conditions agreed by My Car or in respect of any replacement Vehicle rented in lieu <>
6. INDEMNITY
My Car is only responsible for loss or damage suffered by Renter or Third Parties, in connection with the renting or the use of rented car, where such loss or damage was caused intentionally or through gross negligence on this part
In all over cases, My Car cannot accept any such Liability and Renter shall hold My Car harmless against any such claims.
7. ACCIDENTS
In case of any accident or any other incidents (fire, theft etc.) Renter is responsible within 24 hours to follow the insurance procedures as set out below
7.1 All the police
7.2 Obtain names and addresses of eye witnesses
7.3 Do not acknowledge third persons' claims
7.4 Contact My Car immediately by phone or any other means
7.5 Obtain all relevant information from the third party or parties
7.6 Complete and sign an accident report
7.8 Send any other document or information relative to the accident to My Car
8. INSURANCE
8.1 My Car provides insurance coverage for persons using vehicle with its permission (and not otherwise) in accordance with an automobile third party liability insurance policy, which is available for inspection.
8.2 Renter, additional authorized drivers and passengers are not covered by personal accident insurance unless Renter accepts Personal Accident Insurance at the time of rental by initialing in Accept, box on the front page here of, after having agreed to the stated, in the current My Car tariff
8.3 Luggage insurance is not available and Renter is responsible of any loss or damage of property belonging to the passenger
8.4 Damaged tyres are not covered by any Insurance
8.5 CDW coverage does not cover any damage to the underneath to the vehicle if this vehicle was driven off either paved or non-asphalted roads.
9. PERSONAL DATA
Renter consents to the computer storage of this personal data. My Car is authorized to pass on such data in those cases where any statement made by Renter at time of Rental is incorrect or where Renter violates this agreement.
10. MISCELLANEOUS
10.1Vehicle is in the property of My Car. This is an agreement of rental only. Renter is not Lessor's agent or any purpose. Renter acknowledges that he acquires no rights other than stated in this agreement.
10.2 All additional authorized drivers are jointly and severally liable with the Renter under this agreement
10.3 Likewise, in case that this agreement is signed by any representative of the renter, he would be jointly and severally responsible with the Renter
10.4 This agreement supersedes any other written or verbal Agreement between My Car and Renter
10.5 My Car cannot waive any of its rights deriving from the law and this agreement.
11.JURISDICTION
Any and all disputes which may arise between Lessor and Renter will be settled in the competent of courts in Giannitsa.
